We had an incredible few days with the girls at the camp. God moved in many ways and answered so many prayers. We were high energy from the beginning, with an hour hike into the camp. The girls were amazing and having a great time in nature. So many were picking flowers and taking pictures and laughing along the way.
Each day at camp we had many outdoor games (relay races, team building, etc.), crafts, story times and worship/sharing time around the camp fire.
Impactful highlights: our team unity and bonding, set-apart time with individual girls to hear their stories, the men washing the girls feet on the last day.
There are so many stories to share but an overarching theme that we heard from the girls is that they have never experienced such love and affection before, even from their parents. Also, that they knew God's love because of our love. What a blessing to spend time with them!
